Hello! My name is Lindsay, and I am the creator of Word Walls & Wanderlust! I have been teaching for 3 years in Abu Dhabi, UAE. For two years I taught third grade, taking on fifth grade this past year. My experience so far has taught me so much about teaching and especially about English language learners. During this time, I was also able to continue my studies and become certified as a Reading Specialist. I am now moving back to Ontario, Canada where I hope to continue my career in education. In the meantime, I have been enjoying making some awesome resources for my students and traveling the world!

While living in the UAE I have had the opportunity to travel all over, and to many places I never imagined I would go. So far I have visited almost 30 countries and hope to keep exploring! Check out my

Teaching abroad was an incredible experience, and it prompted me to begin my
Teachers Pay Teachers store last year in 2015. I found myself needing to make my own resources for students to meet their needs, and realized I really enjoyed it. Since then, I have been creating resources and have plans for many more; especially in
reading and writing activities, math interactive notebooks, culminating activities and classroom organization!
